South Beach Diet Program Review

Posted by GeneralisimoRCB on 22nd April 2009

The South Beach Diet Plan believes when people process fat and carbohydrates in a different way, they will shed extra pounds. The diet works to get people to stop craving sugar so they can lose weight.

The Basics

This diet works in three phases. First, dieters are not allowed to eat sugars. For two weeks, no processed sugars can be eaten. The fourteen-days is meant to rid dieters of the sugar eating habit.

During the second phase, the foods that were eliminated are brought back in. Moderation is the key during this phase.

When dieters move to the third phase, they focus on maintaining their weight. They use the tools they have gotten to prevent pounds from coming back.

Meal Preparation

The diet focuses on fresh meat, fruit and low carb meals. The cost of some of the meal ingredients can be pricey. Those with kids will likely want to make them a non-diet meal.

People who are on this diet do not have to cook every meal. There are prepackaged meals available at most grocery stores.

The requirements of the diet can be difficult for vegetarians to follow and they need to examine the diet and see if it is something they can do.

The Bottom Line

This diet can work for people who have the willpower to follow it. The first phase can be difficult, but those who are able to get through the phase and continue on with the diet can do well. Dieters who follow the plan can lose weight.

Exercise is not needed to lose weight with this diet. It does not come with an exercise plan. However, more fat can be lost when dieters choose to incorporate exercise with the diet. Those who want to exercise will need to incorporate their own workout plan with the diet program. Ways to Lose Weight Tips - Things You Should Know about Easy Ways to Lose Weight

Posted by GeneralisimoRCB on 18th April 2009

Dynaflex Powerball

To read an updated version about easy ways to lose weight fast and more info about the best fat burning diet plan go to fat loss 4 idiots program.

Do easy ways to lose weight exist?  It’s common knowledge that diet, cutting down on caloric intake, and exercise, increasing the number of calories you burn, combine into a formula for weight loss.  But sticking to the diet is the hard part.  It won’t be easy, but with a little work it sure is possible.  Here are some tricks to make it easier.

Carry a notebook to jot down everything that passes your lips.  Writing down everything you eat and drink, even water, helps you eat less.  Studies show that people who keep track of what they eat end up eating 15% less.  15% is a lot.

The average American consumes an additional 245 calories per day just from drinks.  Make the switch to zero calorie water.  245 calories a day is nearly 90,000 calories a year.  That’s 25 lbs.  Are soda and juice really that good?  Another fact is that despite their calories, drinks like soda and juice don’t trigger a feeling of fullness the way foods do.

Grazing, eating more smaller meals during the day rather than a few large meals, is another way to drop weight.  Eating more meals with smaller portions results in eating 30% fewer calories.  You’re also less likely to binge because the body won’t produce as much insulin which leads to hunger.

Make sure your wardrobe only includes the “skinny” clothes.  If you don’t have clothing that’s comfortable when you’re fat, you’re more likely to be reminded to keep the weight off every time you dress.  And you’re less likely to gain weight if doing so means having to purchase a whole new wardrobe.

Use smaller plates.  It’s been proven that people eat more when more food is available, and they eat less when less food is in front of them.  Use the salad plates instead of dinner plates.

Similar to the idea of using smaller plates, serve your food on the plate rather than in bowls on the table.  Again, people tend to eat what’s in front of them.

Don’t eat white bread, sugar or white rice.  Those foods are loaded with carbohydrates which lead to higher blood sugar and weight gain.  Do eat whole grain breads and brown rice.  Don’t be concerned with the sugar, pretty soon you won’t miss it.

There are a lot of other tips for easy ways to lose weight.  Don’t be intimidated if it’s only easier instead of effortless.  If weight loss were easy, everyone would be a supermodel.

Things You Should Know About Different Types Of Diet Plans

Posted by GeneralisimoRCB on 18th April 2009

Every day seems to bring a new diet and weight loss program to the market, making consumers’ choices almost mind-boggling. These plans can range from fast detox programs that only last a few weeks to long term lifestyle changes. If you are looking to choose one of these popular new diets, it is best to understand just what is involved and how they work before deciding which to use. Regardless of which you select, always get advice from your doctor or other medical professional before starting any weight loss programs.

Detox Diets

Often see on talk shows and in magazines, detox diet plans seem to be all the rage. These diet and fat loss plans are very strict, but promise fast results in the short run. Detox diets help to cleanse the body and rid your digestive system of toxins. One of the extra side effects of a detox plan is rapid weight loss due to reduced food consumption. While these plans can probably work well for short term, quick fat loss, you should not keep on using these programs longer than recommended.

Low Carb Diets

One of the biggest diet and weight loss trends in recent years is the use of low carb diets for quick results. These diets promote consuming smaller amounts of carbohydrates, which will cause your body to burn fat instead of relying on carbs for energy. In general, these plans are effective and often recommended by doctors, however close monitoring by a physician is recommended when using these plans. Rapid weight loss is usually achieved initially, however those who attempt to return to a normal eating plan can gain back as fast as they lost.

Vegetarian Diets

For hundreds of years, different cultures have used vegetarian diets for many reasons. These diet and weight loss plans can be helpful and relatively safe, if those who select a vegetarian lifestyle are careful in their menu planning. Should you choose one of these diet plans, be sure to find plenty of source of protein to fuel your body properly. This should include both complete and incomplete proteins, such as beans, soy, and nuts in order to stay healthy. Though you can lose weight on these diets, more often they are a social or political lifestyle choice.

Balanced Diets

The safest diet and weight loss programs are those who endorse balanced diets. Balanced diets, paired with a regular exercise program are the doctor recommended way to lose weight safely. These diets should include plenty of vegetable and fruit components, lean protein sources and whole grains and fibers. You can follow the Food Pyramid or get sample menu plans from a dietician or doctor. Losing weight with a balanced diet can be a slow process, but if you stick to the plan, it’s the most healthful way to eat long term.

Choosing a fat burning diet program can be hard, but with research and education you can find a plan that will work for you. Your best bet is to talk about your weight issues with your doctor and get his or her opinion. Together you can decide which popular diet plan is right for you.

Things You Should Know about Lose Weight Fast

Posted by GeneralisimoRCB on 16th April 2009

Dynaflex Powerball

Go to fat loss 4 idiots program for more tips about the best fat burning diet plan and an updated version of “i need to lose weight fast“.

Want to lose weight fast for a HS reunion, a trip to the beach, or just for your own peace of mind?  Lose weight too fast and you could harm your body.  A loss of muscle tone or even heart disease and problems with other internal organs can result from fad diets, miracle pills and extreme fasting.  Here are some tips to safely drop pounds fast.

Since losing weight is simply expending more calories than you take in, figure out exactly what you take in.  Keep a written record of every morsel, for at least a week.  Don’t cheat.  Cheating on this only harms you.  Then write down the calories in each of these foods and drinks.  There are many websites such as www.mypyramidtracker.gov that can help with this.

Once you have a list of all the calories you eat, look for ways to ditch them.  One great way is to use smaller plater.  Portion sizes are generally too large both at home and in restaurants.  There are a lot of other simple cuts that don’t significantly change what you eat.  Soda and juice, cake, cookies, butter, lose them.  The average American consumes 240 calories a day from juice and soda.  That’s 90,000 calories a year – 25 pounds!  Getting used to the healthy taste of a salad with a pinch of lemon juice makes a big difference.  Also note that empty calories such as sugars and starchy foods (carbohydrates) are the first things to cut.  These are easily replaced in your diet – try whole wild rice.

An easy place to target for calorie removal is the side dish.  This part of the meal is often a minefield of bad food choices including French Fries, macaroni and cheese and potato salad.  Make a switch to healthy foods, or cut out the sides completely.

Pumping iron increases lean muscle mass, which speeds up your metabolism.  It’s a great calorie burner, but will help you burn calories even when sitting still.  Aerobic workouts are the key.  Don’t pay attention to the 3-5 times a week school of thought on exercise  Find an activity you can sustain for seven days each week, forever..

There’s the plan to lose weight fast.  Now get moving!

Does Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle Really Work?

Posted by GeneralisimoRCB on 15th April 2009

There has been quite a bit of buzz about this new fat loss plan on the internet. Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle is a weight loss program available for download that claims to help people not only lose fat, but add definition to their bodies as well.  We wanted to find out how it works, so we did some research about the program and found out about the results.

First, we were impressed the program was created by Tom Venuto.  You probably recognize Venuto’s name as one of the premier natural body builders and nutritionists around today.  He is well respected in his field, which made us even more curious about the program.  We were very interested to see what he came up with.

The number one thing we noticed about this plan is it is not based on fad diets.  When we looked the program over and researched people who have used it, we realized this plan is not based on junk science or fast weight loss tricks.  Instead, the people who benefited from it said they were able to do so because of the way it helped them change their eating habits.

The program works to give people the workout and nutrition they need to burn fat and lose weight.  Therefore, it is not a quick fix.  It is a way of life, and many people have managed to have a great deal of success with it.

People who were willing to put in the work really liked this program.  They were satisfied that it helped them live their lives in a healthier way.

Based on the Burn The Fat reviews as well as customer feedback collected, we recommend this program for people who want to change their lives in order to lose weight.  It helps people become healthier, lose fat, and look more sculpted. Anyone who is willing to dedicate themselves to getting in better shape might find this program worth a try.

Real Weight Loss and Low Calorie Diets Don't Mix

Posted by GeneralisimoRCB on 15th April 2009

If you are considering using one of the many low calorie diets out there to lose weight, then you should think again.

You may think that a low calorie diet seems logical. I mean the reason that you are probably overweight is because you are storing excessive calories as fat. It seems obvious that weight loss can be achieved by reducing calories.

What you may not know is that your body is one big defence mechanism. Your body is geared to protect you. If yu ae used to consuming a particular number of calories, and all of a sudden this number drops by a large amount, your body will respond by burning calories at a slower rate to compensate. This will occur because it will get a signal which tells it that food is in short supply, and it will begin the process of making calorie burning more difficult, the fact that you are trying to lose weight will not matter.

This is why so many people who go on low calorie diets, find that they lose some weight at the start, and then the weight loss stops after a few weeks. You simply realise that the diet isn't working, so you give it up. The realisation that the diet does not work is the correct realisation, but for different reasons to what you think. A diet that is low in calories can only work for a very short time, and any weight that may have been lost, will come back.

You end up with negative beliefs about losing weight, along with regrets at all the effort and time that you have wasted. All future efforts at losing weight will be done with a deep sense of not succeeding, due to the fact that all previous attempts have resulted in failure.

If real weight loss is your goal, then you will need to stop listening to all the hype about low calorie diets. Let's face it, if these types of diets worked, you wouldn't be reading this. There are ways that you can successfully lose weight and keep it off. It is question of having a structured plan consisting of diet, exercise, and activity. You need to learn to take your time. Simply put, using sensible methods and sensible time frames will allow you not to only succeed in losing weight, but it will it will allow you to keep the weight off for good.

This may sound strange but successful weight loss is about choice. By doing the same things over and over again will only mean the same end result. If you want to change the results that you have been getting, then surely you will need to change what you have been doing. You really aren't doing yourself any favours with the use of low calorie diets.

How The Zone Diet Can Help You

Posted by GeneralisimoRCB on 13th April 2009

The zone diet is considered a fad diet created by a biochemist named Barry Sears. For additional information about the diet please visit Fat Loss for Idiots. In reality it’s not a fad diet in that it is not planned to only be consumed in short periods, but rather to become the normal eating habits for a person. It is considered a low carbohydrate diet; however more is based on balancing hormones and therefore does not restrict carbohydrates as much as other low carbohydrate diets such as the Atkins diet.

The basis of the zone diet is a ratio of calories from carbohydrates, proteins, and fats all of 40 to 30 to 30. Several nonscientific studies done by various television shows have shown that the diet can indeed produce reasonable weight-loss. In fact, many of these nonscientific studies show that people gain muscle mass while losing weight on the zone diet. Many of the people in these studies also reported that of all the low carbohydrate diets, the zone diet was easiest to fit into an everyday lifestyle.

The zone in zone diet refers to a hormone balance in which insulin levels are perfect, glucagen levels are perfect, read more at Fat Loss for Idiots, and thus the body releases various anti-inflammatory chemicals similar to aspirin but without side effects.  In addition, claims Sears, the natural anti-inflammatories help with heart health. An additional profit of the zone diet is that once the human body is in this hormonal balance it becomes more competent and stops storing excess calories as fat.  Thus, with no fat stored, and with stored fat used as energy, the body loses weight. Later on Sears added an Omega three plus Omega six fatty acids to the diet, through such supplements as pharmaceutical fish oils.

A typical zone diet meal was described by its creator in the following manner. In every meal eat enough protein to fit in the palm of your hand, as many non-starchy raw vegetables as you can take just enough carbohydrates to maintain mental clarity, and just enough oils to stop hunger.

This zone diet has a famous weight loss case in its files, that of the man who weighed over 1200 pounds. More can be found at Fat Loss for Idiots. After two years on the zone diet he lost nearly 1/3 of that weight, all that after trying everything he could think of including liposuction that had nearly been fatal. The man’s existing diet consists of 2000 calories busted up into six meals per day. It includes egg white omelets, fresh salads, chicken, fish, and other healthy foods authorized by the zone diet.

Give the zone diet a try, but be wary.

3 Abdominal Training tips to get you RIPPED

Posted by GeneralisimoRCB on 4th April 2009

Today I will describe to you what you need to do to get a sexy mid section. You will not believe these tips when you see them.  In fact, they don’t involve any magic pills or solutions. I found out (after $500) that magic pills simply do not work.

In this article I will talk about some great tips to get a amazing mid section. I promise that you will see results if you follow these tips.

Abs Tip #1-

The tip is to set goals to accomplish your dream. I’m sure that most of you reading this article have made goals for youself and never reached them. This is why following my plan of successs will help you succeed. You should make goals that have two key components. The first thing you have to have is a goal for yourself. Write down the exact blueprint that you need to complete your goal. The second thing is having a timeframe. Deadlines give you a time frame in which you have to complete your goal.  Without a time frame you’ll just put your goal off until tomorrow.

Abs Tip #2-

The next tip is what separates the men from the boys and the women from the girls. If you do not move towards you goal then your goal is nothing but a dream. If you are not doing anything then there is no way for you to reach your goal. The question is are you willing to pay the price. Can you do the work that 99% of individuals are not willing to do to get a nice set of abdominals?

Abs Tip #3-

The last tip is to keep track of your progress. If you follow this plan you will see results in as little as a week. Each day track what you are eating. Look at your diet and see what you are intaking in terms of calories, carbohydrates, fats and protiens. Keep track of the days that you workout. Make sure you have a record of what exercise you completed and how many reps and sets you were done. By tracking what you have done you will see where you are going.

If you are looking for a great workout that will help you lose weight then check out Fat Loss 4 Idiots. I have written a extensive review of this workout here Fat Loss 4 Idiots Review.

Things You Need to Know about the Fastest Way To Lose Weight

Posted by GeneralisimoRCB on 4th April 2009

Dynaflex Powerball

Go to fat loss 4 idiots program to read an updated version about what’s the fastest way to lose weight and more information about the best fat burning diet plan.

Looking for the fastest way to lose weight? Calorie cycling may be the way to go unless you want to consider the ridiculous and completely negative methods of becoming seriously ill or using drugs.

Growing in popularity calorie cycling or calorie shifting is fast becoming the way to go . Long used by bodybuilders and other athletes who have to make weight without a loss of strength or muscle, calorie shifting is a simple method that involves tricking the body into remaining in a high metabolism, high burn mode even when fewer calories are consumed. The best thing about calorie shifting is that it can work to lose weight even if you don’t skimp on calories.

Here’s how it works. Every day eat at the same times, but change the nutrients or calories consumed. It’s a very simple diet to follow because it’s a very well planned diet. Many on line sources include simple instructions and calorie shifting menus.

Are there pitfalls? Of course, so here are some things to keep in mind. This diet is low in vegetables, fat and calcium. All are important elements of good health. Originally developed for cases of extreme obesity, calorie shifting was designed as a medical intervention. There would be a great deal of medical scrutiny along with this diet. That’s not true when used at home. And consider calorie cycling diets are quick weight loss, short time diets. It’s likely that when you end the diet you’ll return to the bad eating habits that caused the weight gain in the first place.

Moderation is required with diets as it is with most anything in life. Good for a short time, calorie shifting should not be extended beyond a few days. Also make sure it’s followed in conjunction with an overall healthy eating plan and an exercise plan. That’s a sure fire way not to regain the weight when the calorie shifting period ends.
